About Us

Our Story

ARRK Fabrication and Design is proud to be an Aggie owned business committed to providing the best Metal Building Construction Services to the Brazos Valley. Our team is lead by 2 Aggie Engineers that love calling Bryan/College Station home.

ARRK Fabrication was founded in 2020 by Alex Richter and Ryan Kraus. With an initial focus on custom metalwork, ARRK quickly expanded into installing Weld-up metal buildings. Now our entire business centers around providing our clients the services needed to create custom metal buildings and Barndominium shells, including dirtwork, concrete, plumbing and building installation.

I grew up in San Antonio and moved to Bryan/College Station to attend Texas A&M. I received my Bachelors and Graduate Degree in Mechanical Engineering and set-out to start ARRK post-graduation. My favorite parts of the business are seeing happy customers and designing complex buildings. I’m happily married to my wife, Miah Kraus, of whom I can’t wait to see after a long day on the jobsight. In our free time, me and my wife enjoy throwing the football, going hiking, and swimming when it’s warm enough.

Estimator & Project Manager

Alex Richter - Owner of ARRK Fabrication

I began my career as a mechanical engineer specializing in automated manufacturing. While working on my Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering at Texas A&M, I took an interest in projects that included electronics and programming which led me to pursuing a Minor and eventually a Master’s in Electrical Engineering. In my free time, I like to tinker on my own engineering projects including electric vehicles and automated machines. I am currently working on the restoration of a 1971 El Camino, adding some new technology to a classic car. I started this company because I love to take on new and creative design and fabrication challenges.
